The N Word

How do you feel about the N word? Personally, I've been conflicted lately. I grew up using it and its like second nature to me, but how can you be upset with someone else for using it. In hip hop we embrace it like a term of endearment, we call everybody my nigga but as soon as a white person uses it, all hell breaks loose. I hear some people say white people can't use it because its our word. They say we took it and made it something positive, but how can such a negative term be positive. Our ancestors were degraded, beaten, and killed behind that word. They're still lynching and killing us at will in America just like the 1800's and you still defend your right to use this word. The Willie Lynch Syndrome is real and until we wake up and realize how we've been manipulated and controlled we can never change our situation in America.
